Latest Updates from Our Project:
Two more goals down with two hours to go!

With such a short amount of time left in the campaign it might be a little silly to have another update, but I wanted to celebrate getting two more stretch goals down since yesterday! We have unlocked our pay increase for our writers AND added a familiars section to the book. The familiars are going to be written by Tony Saunders, probably best known for his work on the incredibly popular Class+ line on Pathfinder Infinite. Super excited to have him join an already awesome writing team.
We do have another stretch goal ready if we reach the $17k mark - adding an additional versatile heritage for those unfortunate souls infected by our Fungal Ancestry! It may be a reach but I think we can get there!
Last update before the campaign ends, let's finish strong!

Another stretch goal down (only two left!)

Just a short update to celebrate that we have blown past the $14k stretch goal! This adds two new archetypes to the Guide, both co-written by Mark Seifter and Linda Zayas-Palmer! I am really excited for these archetypes, they will really help expand having a nature-loving character that isn't forced to be a druid (no disrespect to druids).
We are also closing in on the $15k stretch goal, which will provide all the writers a 25% pay raise. While this doesn't add any additional content to the book, I hope you'll agree that it is just as important of a goal! All of our writers and artists are paid their commission rates, so this goal just helps us make it even better!
Finally, since we shot up so fast yesterday, we are also well in range of our "final" stretch goal, which will add a familiars section to the book! Should we suddenly shoot up even higher we do have other goals in mind, but don't want to announce anything yet since that would still be a bit away.
Thank you again for making this project such a huge success. I hope you all have a relaxing Sunday. Roughly one day left to go!

Another stretch goal down as we enter the final 48 hours!

The Guide Grows
We've cracked the $13k stretch goal and unlocked ten more creatures for the bestiary section of the Guide! As a preview, here is a teaser sketch of the Inky Cap Mushroom Dragon, illustrated by Kin Wald
Our next stretch goal has me really excited as it will add two new archetypes co-written by Mark Seifter and Linda Zayas-Palmer! Mark and Linda are both cornerstones of the Pathfinder community, and Linda previously wrote our leshy heritages for the Botanical Bestiary which came out fantastic. Our working titles for these archetypes are Petal Dancer and Phytomancer, and if that isn't enough to get you excited I don't know what will.
Another teaser image
We also have another teaser image to showoff, this time an alternate for the Aboreal Ancestry by Marcel Budde. There will be some modifications of this one before finalizing, but I just love this image (especially the little squirrels and the bags hanging off the branches).
Another Kickstarter Shoutout
This time want to give a shoutout to the Ultimate Faeries campaign currently running from the folks at Legendary Games! Like us, their campaign is compatible with 5e and Pathfinder 2e, so everyone can find something to enjoy. I love a good fey story and can't wait to use some of the GGG content while running through their adventures. And I mean just look at this art, its going to be awesome.
Thatis all for now
As always, deeply appreciate all of your support and faith in this project. Any and all effort to try and promote the campaign is helpful beyond words, and I cannot thank you all enough for helping us get to where we are. Hopefully I will be back with another update soon as we smash through another stretch goal!

One week left, plus a one-shot adventure!

Hi all -
We are entering our final week of the campaign! We are quickly narrowing in on our next stretch goal, and if we get an end-of-campaign boost similar to what we got during the Botanical Bestiary campaign we can expect to hit all of our stretch goals! I may even have to draft some new ones, depending on how this week goes. As always open to any suggestions for sharing and promoting the project; the more backers we bring in the better the final product will be.
Hijinks + Botanical Bestiary One-shot
We've hinted at this quite a bit, but can finally fully announce our leshy-themed one-shot in partnership with Hijinks! This one-shot is based on their livestream from GenCon 2021, and follows a party of leshies on an awesome botanical adventure (warning that the livestream will spoil the adventure if you plan to be a player!) The adventure is available as a $5 add-on PDF during the Kickstarter, with the goal of publishing it post-campaign on DriveThruRPG as well. The project is written by the awesome crew at Hijinks, with art by Sita Duncan!
Premium Dice Option
Finally, we have some glamor shots of our premium dice option "Autumn Sunrise" by Ordinary Dice. These dice are offered inked in White or Copper, and as single d20s or a set of 7 dice in a standard array. This dice option can be selected in BackerKit and will only be available to backers of the Kickstarter!
Another Kickstarter Shoutout
Once you've got all the resources of the Gardener's Guide, you need a place to use them. Enter the Hunter's Full Moon Trilogy. Now it is only for 5e, but the campaign offers a great wildness setting, with traps, spells, and a herbarium! They were also kind enough to shout us out in a backer update last week, so be sure to check them out as their (fully funded) campaign ends soon!
That is all for now, but we'll have another update soon when we crack that next stretch goal!

First stretch goal down, plus new writers announced!

First Stretch Goal Down!
Its been ~2 days since we hit our funding goal and we have already secured our first stretch goal! This will add an entire new fungus-based Ancestry/Race to the book. For the PF2e fans, this has been a long time coming - the lack of mushroom people in Pathfinder is absurd. For the 5e backers, rest assured this will be a different take than your typical Myconid! Being just unlocked we will have to wait until after the campaign for more details, but I think everyone will be pretty happy!
New Writers
We also get to announce that our $14,000 Stretch Goal to unlock two new Archetypes has an additional surprise - the archetypes will be co-written by none other than Mark Seifter and Linda Zayas-Palmer! Linda previously helped us out by writing the Leshy Heritages for the Botanical Bestiary (in addition to countless writing credits at Paizo), while Mark is the current Director of Game Design at Battlezoo and have tons of cover credits working for Paizo on Pathfinder 2e. If you were excited about the archetypes before, you should be extra hyped now!
New Dice Images
Our friends at Ordinary Dice have finished inking the sample d20s for our campaign and they look great! We will be adding some new images of the d20s to the campaign this weekend, but here is a quick preview! As a reminder, all of these dice are exclusive to our campaign, and can be selected as individual d20s or a matching 7-piece set.
Other Campaigns
As you may have noticed, there are a ton of awesome Kickstarter campaigns going right now, some of which sync really nicely with our project. I'm going to try to shout out a few in these updates so you don't miss out on some great projects (note that I am not part of any of these projects, I just think they are cool!)
First up is Monstrous Beasts: A Guide to Friend Them by Eldritch Osiris Games. This is their first Kickstarter, though anyone in the PF2e space probably knows that EOG has produced a ton of 3PP content, especially for Pathfinder Infinite. They are already funded and running for almost another month, so they have plenty of time to hit some really cool looking stretch goals.
Thank you again for your support of this project! As you can see we are making big moves, and I am thrilled with our progress. Looking forward to showing you even more as we continue to unlock new content!
