We've hit our funding goal!

Still getting my head around it all and trying not to ramble, so I will keep this update brief. I am beyond excited. It means so much to me that you have put your faith in us to deliver, and I hope we can live up to it! For a small team to get two successful campaigns, each over 10k, is astounding and really means a lot. 

On that note, we have added FoundryVTT and Roll20 digital assets to all Backer Tiers! More info to come, but these will be added automatically at no additional cost as a thank you for your support.

Thank you again so much for the support, now lets hit those stretch goals and make the book even better!

Campaign story, shipping, and add-on updates

Hello all - 

We've broken the 150 backer mark and are over 87% funded! As we get closer to the fully funded line, I wanted to share a few small updates about the campaign that I've been quietly adding over the past couple of days.

Sample Pages

We've added two additional sample pages to the campaign story, one for the Firelamp Tree, which will be part of the bestiary section, and one for the Vine-Touched Versatile Heritage.

I am especially excited to talk about the Vine-Touched Versatile Heritage, as it was one of the first things designed for the Gardener's Guide. This is the perfect heritage to make any Ancestry just a little more plant-based. Vine-touched individuals have undergone a ritual to trade away a portion of their very essence in order to aid the natural world around them, restoring some life to the vegetation and land. In return, the rejuvenated plant life "patches them up" a bit, and the person becomes bonded to the plant life. The sample art by Laura Galli shows this process, with patches of moss and leaves growing in place of skin and bone in spots. This Versatile Heritage currently has 30 feats drafted and about half of those finalized. That is currently the general scope of the heritages, though some stretch goals may expand them a bit. For the 5e version, this heritage may look more like a full Race, though there is still some work to do on that front.

Dice!

Our awesome dice maker OrdinaryDice has expanded their toolset a bit and now has a full set of dice available to match our d20s! Each set contains 7 dice in a typical array (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d%, d20) and will be modeled off of the sample images for the d20. Full set images will be coming but are not completed yet. I've added the dice set as an add-on for $55, and the d20s will remain as a single die option as well. If you have already backed for a d20 you can keep it or upgrade to the full set by managing your pledge.

New Zealand shipping added

New Zealand has been added to the shipping schedule for hardcover books. If you would like any additional international destinations added to the shipping options just let me know!

Reddit AMA

The Pathfinder 2e subreddit was kind enough to host an AMA yesterday about the Gardener's Guide, which you can check out here. Information relevant to the campaign will always be added to the actual campaign updates, but there is some more design philosophy information available in the comments of the AMA, if that is of interest!

Hello again!

We've completed (or just about) our first week of the campaign and so far things are looking great! We are already 77% funded and the momentum is staying strong (Sundays are always a bit slow). All of the stretch goals look to be reasonably in range, so you can expect the final product to be fantastic once we get there.

We also released a small update to the campaign page, complete with a preview of a new creature in PF2e format. Expect to see some more updates soon, including some for 5e!

Finally, tomorrow (Monday, Oct 31st) there will be an AMA in the Pathfinder 2e subreddit so feel free to swing by if you have any questions about the project or want to chat with others about it. It is a great chance to drum up some more support for the project and learn about some of the things we have planned. Hope to see you there!

An amazing start!

Just a small update to celebrate our success so far: We reached 50% funding in 12 hours! Absolutely incredible and blowing past the funding rate for the Botanical Bestiary. We are well on our way to funding and the stretch goals are looking really good! Thank you all so much for the support, I think we are really going to make something special here.
